Breanna Green, a recent graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law, joins Schierer & Ritchie, LLC as an Associate Attorney. With a strong academic background and dedication to client service, she is committed to providing strategic legal counsel to clients navigating complex issues within the areas of criminal defense, personal injury, auto accidents, and family law.

Ms. Green’s practice focuses primarily on four critical areas of law:

Educational Background
Ms. Green attended Bradley University on an academic scholarship, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science, summa cum laude. During her final year at Bradley University, she was awarded the William J. Voelker, Jr. memorial scholarship after being hand selected by the Political Science and Pre-Law Departments.
Ms. Green then went to the University of Illinois College of Law on a full scholarship, earning her Juris Doctor. While attending the University of Illinois College of Law, she was selected to join the Judicial Internship Opportunity Program after undergoing several rounds of interviews, where she received a scholarship from the American Bar Association and a summer internship with the Honorable Judge Ronda D. Holliman in Champaign County. Ms. Green worked closely with Judge Holliman for more than two years, conducting in-depth research, drafting detailed memoranda, and observing countless hours in the courtroom.
Ms. Green first joined Schierer & Ritchie as a Summer Associate in 2022. She has assisted in a number of criminal, both state and federal, and civil matters. Ms. Green played a role in achieving a number of positive outcomes for our clients, including a federal motion for compassionate release being granted, leading to the immediate release of a client, several criminal charges being dismissed, a number of below federal guideline range sentences, and million-dollar personal injury settlements.
